![]() ![]() I closed the book only 20 minutes ago, and I have a hole in my heart you could drive a Semi through. I think Steel Magnolias is incredibly stupid. I didn’t get the appeal of The Fault in Our Stars (except that I love how John Green writes). I didn’t know what part of Where the Red Fern Grows was supposed to make me sad. I don’t know what my problem is – I swear I’m not a narcissist or a sociopath. Let me start off by saying, I don’t cry for fiction easily. Please read the book on your own or as instructed by your teacher (though on your own is probably still best.) The following is a review based on my own opinions, but while I hope to open up some discussions inspired by the book (which may be useful for you!) I would be very disappointed to know if you plagiarized, or worse yet – were too lazy to read the book at all! Disclaimer: If you’re here as a student hoping for a leg up on a school assignment, let me nag you for a bit. ![]()
